OVERCOME HEAVYNESS AND BE HAPPY

It may not be madness to get mad at people sometimes but it is outright madness to stay mad. Holding grudge against someone will never change that person you’re grudging for the better but the act rather changes you for the worse. It gives you headache, it makes your stomach hurt, makes you lose concentration, it raises your blood pressure, it clogs your brain and clouds your mental vision, it chains down your spirit man and badly affects your prayer life- because in that situation, God can never answer your prayers while holding grudge against anyone (Matt 5:23&24). And most importantly, should rapture take place, and meet unforgiveness…... you are not going anywhere.

It negatively affects everything in you and you in everything you do. Something that negatively affects your spirit and soul has a devastating effect on your body too. Matt 18:21-35, makes us understand that those who don’t forgive others are denied of healing, deliverance, and a place in kingdom of God. They are even to delivered to the devils to be tortured till they pay for all their sins- the debt no man can ever pay (Matt 18:34)..

Hatred is a self-addressed envelop.

There is another terrible type of grudge and hatred. This one happens when you anticipate that someone would offend you, and then you hate them for what they have not even done beforehand. Though, oftentimes they won't offend you when you finally have an encounter with them, but by this time, your heart is already clouded by what you expected and the true love, joy and enthusiasm can never be there. You may fake it, but that indicates more spiritual and intellectual bondage and it also proclaims your weakness and doing it makes you mentally and spiritually weaker each time. Why not just live a free and peaceful life by setting others free and letting them be at peace in your heart. They are only in the abstract bondage of your heart; they don't experience the bondage in real life after all. You're the one carrying the heavy load.

Simply let it go before it gets down in you and take root. A foothold you allow for the devil will soon become a stronghold. So, give no room for the devil

You say but it’s not easy to do!!

I am not saying it is easy to do either. Something that is not easy to do only require strength to accomplish. Only those people who go through each day without carrying any load of grudge or malice or hatred to their beds are those empowered to do so.  Only the strong, loving and compassionate people can forgive without looking back on their decision.

HOW TO LET GO AND BE HAPPY

we shall consider three things ways;

1.       STRENGHT:

Phil 4:13 says "I can do all things through Christ which strentheneth" please note the word STRENGTHENET OR STRENGTHENS. I also love the way The Darby's Translations put it. It says "I have strength for all things in him that gives me power." This simply means that God keeps giving us power and strength to do all things (including forgiving others and overlook or letting go where necessary) each moment, hour, and in everyday of our life- as much as we can ask him for it. For he said in matt 7:7 "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:" Numbers 14:28 also Says "......... As truly as I live, saith the LORD, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you:"

Think of the strength Jesus possesses, so much that He not only forgave but also prayed for those who crucified Him.in luke 22:41-44 Jesus, knowing the great task of been brutally crucified without commiting any sin, prayed so much “…his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground vs 44.”  And we learnt that after he’d prayed earlier, “And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.”

Much of the strength to "overcome evil with good" as the Bible commands in (Romans 12:21) lies in love and that leads us into the next point;

2. LOVE AND COMPASSION:

 If you're truly a child of God, you will possess the spirit of God(Holy Spirit) which is the spirit of Love. Remember "Where the spirit of God (Spirit of Love) is, there is liberty"!

 2Cor 3:17 says "Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty." Now, the Lord is the spirit, the Spirit of The LORD, and God is Love. Now you understand that both God, The Holy Spirit, Lord Jesus and Love are all one and that is why God is so loving and compassionate enough to spare you, even you, till this day in-spite of uncountable sins with which you have offended Him. Not only that, He also sent His only Son Jesus Christ to die for those sins of yours and mine. He was able to do all these because Love and compassion is who God is. 1John 4:8 "For God is Love" Paslm 145: 8 "The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy."  Prov 10:12 “Hatred stirreth up strifes: but LOVE covereth all sins.”

When you possess the spirit of God, the fruits or characteristics of God will be present in you. That is, you begin to behave (Love) like God. Gal 5:22 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith…”

3. TAKE THE HIGHWAY AND DON'T TAKE THE BAIT:

Help yourself to escape from the net of hatred that the devil has spread for before you. And ask God for help too-daily. He sets this trap and tries to persuade you to travel in that path so that he can capture and torture you. you see, the devil uses someone to tempt(offend) you, and then he comes back to you preaching hatred, expanding and yet forcing the issue, making you see the reasons why you shouldn't free them from the cage of your heart. He does this, so that he can have the opportunity to put you in his own many bondages- yes, many bondages.

We can forgive people, no matter what the do to us, through strength in Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 6:10 says “be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.”

Let it go and be happy!!!

                                         WHY SHOULD YOU FEAR?(PROSE)

When you have unconfessed sin; cos the trumpet may sound and you may end your journey in hell.

When youre a sinner; cos then youre closest to your no 1 enemy (devil) and farthest from your no 1 friend (Jesus)

When you’ve secretly done something you preach against; for continence will haunt you and the devil will be allowed to torment you unless you repent.

When you are wicked; for nemesis will surely catch up with you one day except you repent.

When you don’t fear God; for that simply means you lack wisdom. For the Bible says the “fear of God is the beginning of wisdom”

When God is your enemy; for God is a consuming fire, consuming none other than his enemies (Deut 4:24). Trust me, you dare not decide to be God’s enemy. Isaiah 45:9 Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands?”  

When God is not on your side in the battles of life; for the devil will simply make mincemeat of you anytime he chooses.

OTHERWISE YOU SHOULDN’T BE AFRAID AT ALL FOR GOD IS ON YOUR SIDE AND WHEN GOD IS ON YOUR SIDE….. HE TAKES EVERYTHING,I MEAN EVERYTHING ABOUT YOU PERSONAL. HE FIGHTS YOUR BATTLES FOR YOU, SHARE YOUR PA DELIGHTS IN AND GIVES YOU PROSPERITY, PROTECTS YOU FROM ANYTHING OR ANYONE THAT CAN HURT YOU, NAME IT! MOST IMPORTANTLY HE HAS PREPARED A PLACE FOR YOU IN HEAVEN WHEN YOU DIE.

PSALMS 91 AND PSALM 23 ABOUT SAYS IT ALL.

SO WHY SHOULD YOU FEAR WHEN YOU HAVE GOD?

RELAX!!! GOD IS IN CONTROL!!!

How to conquer anxiety

CONQUERING ANXIETY

ANXIETY is listening to what the devil says, believing what he says and then meditating over what he says. In other words anxiety is a form practical obedience to the devil. Anxiety is being disturbed by the lies of the devil. In Matt 14:28-30, Peter was disturbed by the boisterous wind shown him by the devil and he began to sink. We are only disturbed by those lies because we are accepting and believing them as the truth. And we believe those lies because we don’t know enough truth to displace and replace them with.

To be anxious is to be careful about things God had already taken care of. We are commanded to be “careful” for nothing….. (Philippians 4:6). This means the only thing we are allowed to be “careful” about is nothing. Because we are also told in (1 Peter 5:7) that we should cast all our cares on HIM; for HE cares for us. (Careful in this context means anxious)

Anxiety is seeing yourself the way the devil sees you which is directly opposite to the way GOD sees you. God is the only true GOD and of course the only GOD OF TRUTH, HIS WORDS are true; yea and amen! “GOD is not man that HE should lie, neither is HE a son of man that he should repent” Numbers 23:19. The devil on the contrary is a liar and the father of liars.

The Bible says “faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of GOD” Romans 10 : 17. Faith is the opposite of fear; therefore if faith comes by hearing the word GOD which is the truth, then fear comes by hearing the words of the devil which are nothing other than lies.

To have faith, the first thing we need do is to make deliberate and sincere effort to read, hear/listen to the word of GOD. “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of GOD” Romans 10:17. And then to accept it, then to meditate on it, and believe it is the real needed truth, commit your heart to do it as you read it and most importantly, be the doer of the word. “For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the law of the LORD, and to do it, and to teach in Israel statutes and judgments.”  Ezra 7:10.

How do you know if the devil is speaking? It is so simple, he points out your weakness and shortcoming to you. He doesn’t want you to see your strengths at all. In matt 14:28-30, as soon as Jesus asked peter to come on the sea the devil was on hand to show peter how much boisterous the wind was around him. To Jesus Christ, creator of all things, the wind is always under control either boisterous or not, just like any other thing He created. So to Jesus, the wind is nothing worth considering dangerous. Peter, even though he first recognized the fact that the wind or the sea is nothing when Jesus is around, he later listened to the devil and obeyed him by shifting his gaze from the Lord to the show of the boisterous wind around him. He nearly perished, but Jesus was on hand to save and to deliver him.

The devil says things that are directly opposite of what God says in the Bible. Since God says the truth always and the devil in his best interest has nothing else to say other than lies which is the opposite of what God’s truth says. Remember that God said in Jer 29:11 that “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” So when the devil comes to you and tells you something opposite of this, it is so easy to dispel the thoughts by rebuking the devil and he shall not just leave you alone, but flee from you. But it is unfortunate that many don’t have the light of the word, insomuch that when the devil comes with lies, they don’t recognize it and they tend to believe it. “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom…” Colossians 3:16

And whatever you believe can either bring both peace and joy or both fear or torment depending on whom they came from: God or devil.

But fear on the contrary, is listening to the word of the devil (i.e. hearing out the devil), accepting, believing and meditating on it. Any drop of alphabet from the devils mouth that you allow is a potential seed that bears the fruit of anxiety, worry, fear, confusion, torment and death. So please “Give no place to the devil” Ephesians 4:27.

To overcome the devil, you need to know the truth (the word of GOD ALMIGHTY). The light given by the word of God in your heart exposes the camouflage of the devil. John 1:1-5 “In the beginning was the word,… And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.”  And once you recognize the antics and cunningness of the devil, all you need to do is to rebuke him. James 4:7 “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” Submit yourself unto God by reading, studying and doing the word of GOD and then the devil will obey you at the first time of asking whenever you rebuke him. The devil was created by God and God is alive in us. So all we need is to obey God AND EVERY OTHER THINGS that God created including the devil will obey GOD in us.

Doing is the most important part of God’s word. The truth is that God knows those who obey HIM and the devil knows those who obey him too. So the devil knows exactly who to obey. He obeys those who obey God and deals with those who obey him. . James 1:22 “But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.”

STOP WHINING AND DINNING WITH THE DEVIL TODAY. STOP ASKING QUESTIONS IN YOUR MIND AND STOP ANSWERING WHEN YOU’RE ASKED(Especially the “what if” voice.) STOP FIDGETING AND JITTERING WHEN YOU ARE ACCUSED IN YOUR MIND. Rom 12:1 “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.”

STOP ARGUEING WITH THE DEVIL (The only sure way to conquer him is by rebuking him not by trying to prove a point to him.)

STOP ILL-DEFINING SITUATIONS, INSTEAD, SEE THINGS THE WAY THEY ARE.

STOP MAKING A MOUNTAIN OUT OF A MOLE-HILL.

STOP BEING ANXIOUS. STOP TURNING A BAD SITUATION TO WORSE.

BE ANXIOUS FOR NOTHING AND TAKE CHARGE OF YOUR LIFE TODAY!

 

 

How to Delete Porn from Your Brain

In a society bent towards the microwave mentality of "gotta have it now", it would be convenient if God armed our brain with a porn "delete" button that would instantly delete the images from our mind. In a sense, He has, but not in a New York minute sort of way. Instead, He has provided a superhighway for sanctification that science is now helping us discover.

In Romans 12:2, Paul urges us to not conform to the pattern of this world, but to be transformed by the renewing of our mind. For a person struggling with porn, the process of successfully renewing the mind is a two to five-year process of breaking free.

It starts off as a moral issue, but quickly becomes a brain problem. As the saying goes "neurons that fire together wire together." So, the more you practice speaking a language, positive self-talk, or watching porn, the stronger those circuits become. This is how men end up in bondage.

New research shows the ability to learn is more than building and strengthening connections. Even more important is a process called "synaptic pruning" - the purging of old neural connections or thoughts that aren't being used. Authors, Judah Pollack and Olivia Fox Cabane use a garden analogy to explain this.

Your Brain Is Like a Garden

"Imagine your brain is a garden, except instead of growing flowers, fruits, and vegetables, you grow synaptic connections between neurons...Glial cells are the gardeners of your brain...other glial cells are the waste removers, pulling up weeds, killing pests, raking up dead leaves...the synaptic connections that get used less get marked by a protein, C1q (as well as others). When the microglial cells detect that mark, they bond to the protein and destroy—or prune—the synapse."
In other words, your glial cells wash your brain, removing thoughts that are not being accessed. It's like your brain's recycling bin. It certainly gives the verse in Ephesians 5:26, "the washing with water through the word" a whole new significance. Two thousand years ago Paul was telling us that Scripture had the power to wash our brains - literally!

Nightly Brain Cleanse

According to Pollack and Cabane: "Your brain cleans itself out when you sleep—your brain cells shrink by up to 60% to create space for your glial gardeners to remove the waste and prune the synapses."

What's fascinating is 10% of your brain works when you're awake, and 90% works when you're not. That's why sleep matters. Have you ever woken up thinking sharper than the night before? Your glial cells have been at work - clearing out all the trash.

Renewing of The Mind

 

Dr. Ted Roberts, advises those who struggle with porn to turn off all media thirty minutes before bed and, instead, prepare for the battle each night by meditating on Scripture.

"Understanding the brain is so important in this battle. Men in sexual bondage go through a cycle of triggering, ritual and acting out.

 

One of the things we tell men to do to prepare for the battle each night is: meditate on Scripture before bed. Why? Because God's word has the power to physically restructure our brain. Most of the conscious decisions we make will continue to operate on an unconscious level." - Dr. Ted Roberts

When we devote our time in Scripture before bed it empowers us to take every thought into captivity to Christ. And this new study proves this because you actually have some control over what your brain decides to delete while you sleep. According to Pollack and Cabane: "It's the synaptic connections you don't use that get marked for recycling. The ones you do use are the ones that get watered and oxygenated. So be mindful of what you're thinking about."

Neuroscientist, Dr. Tim Jennings, takes the notion of mindfulness even further: "Incredibly, our beliefs, thoughts, behaviors...change our brain structure, ultimately changing who we are." This new research on neurogenesis not only corroborates Scripture, but is helping us understand the sanctification process that takes place in the brain. And this revelation can revolutionize the way we approach Romans 12:2 on renewing our mind.
